Delphi Technique

The Delphi Technique was developed by the RAND Corporation to develop "consensus". Consensus is not agreement. It is the absence of dissent. The technique involves structuring questions and issues for a predetermined outcome while giving the appearance of obtaining public input. This video is a compliation of several meeting where the Delphi Technique was used in One Bay Area visioning sessions to make it appear that everyone was in favor of high density housing, mass transit, social equity.  Watch video here 

 

 

Social Equity

 Social Equity is an integral component of the One Bay Area Plan.  Organizations like Urban Habitat, a Van Jones related organization, lobby the Metropolitan Tranportation Commission (MTC) and Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG) to promote that they implement the "social equity" scenario. One of the missions of One Bay Area is to implement the "175 % income redistribution"

: Former East Block Resident Speaks Up About the Planning Process

 

A young man from Romania discusses the One Bay Area plan and how it is worse than what he experienced in Romania. He warns that we are dangerously close to becoming the type of country that he fled. Americans take heed. Smart Growth and Sustainable Development are policies that are excuses for central planning.

Supervisor Advocates Taxpayer Subsidized Housing in Transit Plan

Marin County Supervisor discusses the requirement to provide "affordable" housing (subsidized) so that employers could hire people who live close to work. Does that mean that government entities are selecting employees for businesses?  Watch video here:
